Knight Paladin in 15mm

In a previous post I showed off the Ork Stompa I printed for my 15mm Warhammer 40k (3rd edition rules) games. I do add in later edition models as well. But I do like the retro style of games.

The Stompa was an old Epic style 3d model that I printed in FDM. But the file had a twin that was the old-style Knight Paladin, and I couldn't resist giving it a print as well. Behold the result!

15mm Space Ork and a 15mm Halo Ground Command trooper for height reference.

I don't yet know how I plan to use it at this time. It may be added to my Imperial Guard faction, or I may turn it into a looted Ork Stompa. Could be kind of fun having two factions of Orks facing off against one another with Stompa's where one is a looted Kight Paladin.

Still requires a little more cleaning up on the Knight. Also, a few of the hoses broke on the model when I over zealously removed the tree supports. But nothing I can't fix up with a bit of kit bashing.

I was concerned that I got the height wrong for 15mm scale. But as the Knight Paladin stands at about 9 metres tall and so this works out to be about the right height.
