Klingon D5 for A Call To Arms Starfleet - UPDATE

UPDATE - It didn't seem right to me that the D5 ACTA ship data card that I posted in the previous post had two rear firing photon torpedoes. In the TV shows, Klingon's face their enemies and have minimal weapons facing to the rear. They only have some just in case an enemy gets behind them. So I reduced the number of torp's to the rear by one and adjusted the ships new points value to 150 points. But feel free to use either version.

Klingon D5 for A Call To Arms Starfleet

I have finally had the time to get back to doing my version of Klingon ships from the TV series for ACTA Starfleet. Been very busy working on stuff for my roleplaying group of late, so my apologies there fan.

Anyway, here is my take on the Klingon D5 as seen on Star Trek Enterprise and in the Axanar fan film.

The types of weapon systems come from online schematics. The numbers of dice for each weapon are based on the D5 being a bigger hitter than the D4. Enjoy!

MOAB 2019

MOAB 2019 is back this long weekend. I attended Saturday. There were a lot more games being played than last year, and that seemed to chew up space normally set aside for the retail section. So the retail section seemed to me to be slightly smaller than last year. But other than that, there were a lot of gaming tables and many of them seemed dedicated to playing 40K. Other popular games being played were DBA, Flames of War, Blood Bowl and a few one offs. There was a couple of demo games as well. Here are the photos I took of the day.

This is from a Kickstarter called Mirrors of Tullarn. You can find it here currently active here.

This game (see image above and the next few) is based on the idea of near future warfare. Combat drones slug it out across tomorrows battlefields. Only one command vehicle is needed to control the drones. Drones can self repair in-field. Sounds like an interesting game and its based on very near future tech. You can find out more at their website here.
