I needed some verminy things to throw at my player's this last D&D session. So I recently painted up some nasty's to whittle down their hit points. I had a beetle swarm all ready to pop out of a sarcophagus once the PC's cracked the seal.
Both miniature sculpts are from Reaper Miniatures
So what happened? One of the players, our youngest in fact, was able to cast a Frostbite spell at the crack in the opened lid of the sarcophagus and freeze this little blighters solid. Scratch one nasty surprise for the PC's! PC's 1, GM 0. Well played!
Don't worry. The scorpions are yet to be revealed! Insert evil genius laughter here...
